Information and purpose

2751 Home Automation connects devices authorized by the household owner. Its current RaccoonGuard automation accesses authorized Google Nest home and room metadata, camera information, event types and timestamps, and camera livestream access. Google Cloud Pub/Sub delivers camera events to Home Assistant. Sprinkler commands and watering status are exchanged with Orbit B-hyve.

This information is used to operate and troubleshoot household automations and display authorized device information in Home Assistant. It is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train general-purpose AI models.

Storage and service providers

Home Assistant stores credentials, configuration, and device/event history on the owner's server. Authorized household administrators can access these records. Google and Orbit process information through their own services under their respective policies. The public information website is hosted by Google Firebase; hosting infrastructure may process request information such as IP addresses. The website has no sign-up form or added analytics scripts.

Retention and control

Device history is subject to Home Assistant's recorder retention and purge settings. Credentials remain until removed or replaced. Logs and backups may retain information separately until deleted. The owner controls these settings and deletion.

The owner can revoke Google access through Google Account connections and remove integrations from Home Assistant. Revocation stops future authorized access but does not automatically delete existing local records or backups.

Google API data

2751 Home Automation's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
